Géraldine Picaud was appointed Chief Executive Officer of SGS in March 2024. She joined the Group as Chief Financial Officer in December 2023 with an extended scope notably including Strategic transformation, M&A, IT and Digitalization, Procurement, Communication and Sustainability, in addition to Group Finance.

She served as Group Chief Financial Officer and Executive Committee member of Holcim, a global leader in building solutions, from 2018 to 2023. In this capacity, she implemented a proactive strategy of growth acceleration and corporate simplification.Prior to this, she was Group Chief Financial Officer and Executive Committee member of Essilor International, the world leader in ophthalmic lenses, where she led the consolidation of the prescription lab market through a resolute strategy of bolt-on acquisitions.她还曾在 ED&F Man（一家专门从事农产品、咖啡、糖和动物饲料的成分和商品公司）和特种化学品集团 Safic Alcan 担任高级管理职务。她的职业生涯始于安达信会计师事务所（Arthur Andersen）的审计师。
