SGS Semiconductor and Ultra Trace Analysis Laboratory (SGS-SUTA) received the CMA Certificate

SGS-SUTA Lab has just received the CMA certificate issued by the Shanghai Municipal Market Supervision and Administration Bureau in December 2021.

 

SGS-SUTA Lab was established by SGS-the world’s leading test, inspection and certification organization. The lab focuses on the semiconductor industry. With its leading technology accumulation, advanced equipment and global service network, SGS-SUTA is committed to providing professional analysis and testing services for semiconductor-related companies, helping companies to control yield and improve quality.

 

Since its establishment, SGS-SUTA has been operated under a quality management system that is in strict accordance with the requirements of ISO 17025 "General Requirements for Testing and Calibration Laboratory Capabilities" and RB/T 214 "Evaluation of Qualification Accreditation Capabilities of Inspection and Testing Institutions - General Requirements for Inspection and Testing Institutions". It ensures high quality testing services to its customer by adhering to the Chinese and International quality standards.

 

Located in Zhanjiang Science Park, Pudong New Area of Shanghai, SGS-SUTA is equipped with two professional cleanroom laboratories at Class 100 and Class 10 respectively which houses several advanced state-of-the-art test equipment. The laboratory is set up to focus on serving semiconductor industries and the scope of services covers the entire supply chain, including the related flat panel and electronic manufacturers. As well as their supply chains such as the suppliers of raw materials, equipment, etc. SGS-SUTA has provided one-stop solutions such as testing and technical consultation for many well-known semiconductor companies.

 

SGS-SUTA's services include:

  • Incoming materials quality control such as wafers, chemicals, gases, parts and consumables etc. of the semiconductor, flat panel, photovoltaic and other related industries.
  • Semiconductor and cleanroom facility and environmental control such as ultra-pure water (UPW), airborne molecular contamination (AMC), VOC, clean dry air (CDA) etc. to ensure a contamination free environment for yield and quality control.
  • Cleanroom class verification/certification, cleanroom particle and other measurements, cleanroom training and consultation, cleanroom design and building etc. according to ISO 14644 to provide a Cleanroom Total Solution.
  • Verification/certification of semiconductor manufacturing equipment for particle emission, equipment cleanliness compliance, VOC and other professional testing services according to ISO 14644.

SGS-SUTA Laboratory equipment includes:

  • Two high-end cleanrooms: one at ISO 4 (equivalent to conventional class 10) and the other at ISO 5 (equivalent to conventional class 100).
  • ICP/MS/MS 8900 Inductively Coupled Plasma-Mass Spectrometer: to determine the metallic elements content in materials, detection limit down to ppt level.
  • ICS 6000 Ion Chromatograph: to determine the anions and cations content in the material, and the detection limit can reach to ppt level.
  • GC/MS 8890 Gas Chromatograph-Mass Spectrometry: to determine organic contaminants.
  • High-precision Aerosol Particle Counter: to determine suspended particles in cleanroom environment.
