(1)Onsite Chemical management processes in Factory
Assign responsible personal for chemical management in the factory--Make Chemical Inventory cover all chemicals use and store in the factory--Obtain MSDS from chemical suppliers—Read MSDS and update chemical inventory--Search chemical information from authority website such as ECHA etc. and recheck MSDS information to ensure chemical information in MSDS is accurate-Chemical risk assessment for each process/ collective protection system/   /PPE/Emergency Plan—Onsite Management.

(2)What is the safety data sheet for chemicals (MSDS)? Where to get it? What are the necessary contents?
MSDS is a document that provides information of chemicals such as physical properties (melting point / boiling point, etc.), hazards to environment and human body, how to store / transport / hazardous wastes management, select appropriate protective equipment, provide measures for emergency response, etc. The MSDS shall be obtained from the chemical suppliers. MSDS shall have 16 sections and the title, number and order of each section shall not be changed.
Regulations on Safety Use of Chemicals in Workplaces (1996),
Article 11, The safety data sheet is updated every five years. If new hazardous characteristics are discovered during this period, within six months of the release of relevant information, the production unit must modify the safety data sheet and provide it to the operation, transportation, storage and use units.
Article 12, Chemicals used shall have the labels, and the hazardous chemicals should be attached with safety labels. Also, the safety and technical instructions of the chemicals shall be available for operators engaged in the use of the chemical.
Article 20, Units shall open safety and sanitary documents of hazardous chemicals to employees and educate them to identify the safety labels, understand the safety and technical instructions, and master the emergency response methods as well as self-first-aid measures. Units shall regularly educate and train employees regarding the safety use of chemicals at workplaces.
Safety Data Sheet for Chemical Products - Content and Order of Sections (GB/T 16483-2008), Article 4.1
The SDS shall provide information on the chemicals in accordance with below 16 sections. The title, number and order of each section shall not be changed.

2) Hazards Identification
3) Composition and Information on Ingredients
4) First Aid Measures
5) Fire-fighting Measures
6) Emergency Plan for Accidental Release
7) Handling and Storage
8) Exposure Controls/ Personal Protection
9) Physical and Chemical Properties
10) Stability and Reactivity Data
11) Toxicological Information
12) Ecological Information
13) Disposal Consideration
14) Transport Information
15) Regulatory Information
16) Other information

(3)Why should the chemicals used in the workshop be identified? What information should be posted on the chemical container?
The chemicals used in the workshop shall be identified by the chemical name + hazard sign in local language that can be read by the workers.
Regulations on Safety Use of Chemicals in Workplaces (1996),
Article 12, Chemicals used shall have the labels, and the hazardous chemicals should be attached with safety labels. Also, the safety and technical instructions of the chemicals shall be available for operators engaged in the use of the chemical.
Article 13, When unit purchase hazardous chemicals, the safety label on the package (or container) must be checked. If the safety label is detached or damaged, it shall be re-attatched after inspection and confirmation.

Label elements
Including chemical identification, pictograms, signal words, hazard statements, precautionary statements, emergency consultation telephones, supplier identification, information referrals, etc.
