SGS Implements Ghana Conformity Assessment Program (G-CAP)
To ensure the quality of products as well as the health, saftey and environmental protection of Ghanaian consumers; and to prevent the importation of unsafe, substandard and/or counterfeit goods, Ghana Standards Authority (GSA) has launched the Ghana Conformity Assessment Program (G-CAP) for all the regularted prodcuts imported in Ghana.
It requires a Certificate of Conformity (CoC) issued by SGS for shipment performed as from the program's start date. The Certificate is required for Customs Clearance document in Ghana.
