SGS Will Hold a Seminar on the ISO/TS 16949 New Edition in 28 Cities of 17 Provinces in China
ISO/TS 16949:2009 is the automotive ISO Technical Specification that applies the ISO 9001 standard of 2008.
On June 15, 2009, ISO released a new edition of ISO/TS 16949:2009 which specifies the quality system requirements for the application of ISO 9001:2008 for suppliers, automotive production and relevant service part organizations in the automotive sector.
ISO/TS 16949:2009 replaces the ISO/TS 16949:2002 edition which has been used by the major automotive manufacturers to certify over 35,000 organizations that produce and supply auto parts.
To disseminate this latest information to the large number of automotive customer groups in China, as well as to avoid confusion between the old and new edition, SGS will hold the “ISO/TS 16949:2009 Latest Standard Seminar Tour” in 28 cities of 17 provinces in China, including Guangdong, Guangxi, Jiangxi, Beijing, Tianjin, Jilin, Liaoning, Hebei, Henan, Shanxi, Shandong, Shanxi, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Chongqing, Hubei.
Throughout the tour, SGS Automotive Product Senior Managers will be invited to analyze the differences between the two editions and to elaborate on the new standards and rules for certification. With this seminar, participating enterprises can understand and master the requirements of the ISO/TS 16949:2009 new edition.
