SGS-CSTC Minerals Services was officially assigned by General Electric (GE) to provide all coal related external inspection services.
In July 2008, SGS-CSTC Minerals Services was officially assigned by General Electric (GE) to provide all coal related external inspection services.
Being of the four R&D center, Shanghai R&D center of GE is equipped with many best-in-class lab facilities. Their fast growing Coal Gasification Analysis Laboratory is the only lab in GE global network to provide furnish coal gasification (research on changing coal to oil), co-production, IGCC (Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle) and other related researches. With the continuous development of its capability, all the coal research projects will be handled in Shanghai.
This cooperation greatly strengthened mutual understanding and communication between SGS-CSTC Mineral Services and GE China Global Technology Center. With the professional expertise and impartiality in mineral testing area, SGS will assist GE defining customized working procedure and application forms and on time monitoring and updates. Besides, SGS will continue to help customer reduce risk, enhance productivity, build transparency in the value chain and ultimately help customers be more competitive in global market.
