Ford Motor Research and Engineering Center (China) issues Lab testing Certificate to SGS,
December 28th, 2007, Ford Motor Research and Engineering Center (China) issued Lab testing Certificate to SGS. Ford Motor Corporation is one of the world's largest automobile manufacturing Corporations and Ford Motor Research and Engineering (Nanjing) Co., Ltd. is part of Ford Motor's global business in product development and sourcing. The issuance of the certificate indicates that SGS will be officially designated by Ford as the supplier of inspection projects, and also implies that the future relevant tests which are going pass in SGS, will also be recognized by Ford. This is not only the recognition for SGS as the world's leading inspection institution, but also the full affirmation for the contrast tests done in the past two years.
Mr. Wang Jianfeng and Mr. Shi Qingfeng, material managers of Ford Motor Research and Engineering (Nanjing) Co, ltd., and Ms. Zhu Changqin, Central China Regional Director of SGS-CSTC Standards Technical Services Co., Ltd. attended the certification ceremony. During the meeting, representatives of Ford made a brief introduction about Ford’s current purchasing quantity and testing projects, and SGS also expressed high attention and support to Ford and these projects. They also had face-to-face discussion on the specific test projects. In addition to some of the existing contrast test projects, Ford demonstrated intense interest in our ability within the field of chemical and oil products, and planned to hold a seminar in Ford (Nanjing) about chemicals and materials at the end of February. They hoped to have more extensive cooperation in various fields.
