C-TPAT is an initiative launched by CBP, aiming to enhance and improve the safety of international supply chain and the US border, as well as establish a cooperative relationship between the government and the business community. C-TPAT provides a minimum standard of security, and hopes to ensure the supply chain security through strengthening the cooperation within the main stakeholders in the international supply chain. SGS will organize the C-TPAT seminars in Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Xiamen.

C-TPAT (Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) is an initiative launched by CBP (US Customs and Border Protection), aiming to enhance and improve the safety of international supply chain and the US border, as well as establish a cooperative relationship between the government and the business community. C-TPAT is a voluntary supply chain security solution.
With the development of international business and trade, supply chain security has become part of international purchasing requirements gradually. C-TPAT provides a minimum standard of security, and hopes to ensure the supply chain security through strengthening the cooperation within the main stakeholders in the international supply chain. For now, more than 11400 certified partners have been accepted into this program. SGS will organize the C-TPAT seminars in Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Xiamen, helping enterprises to know the relevant requirements better, consolidating the overall security of the supply chain.
