SMETA is one of the most widely used social audit procedures in the world, designed for suppliers to share one audit with multiple customers, meeting multiple customer requirements. As overseas buyers show more concerns on the ethical and social responsibility in commercial trade, SMETA has gained increasing recognition from overseas buyers these years. Since Sedex launched Audit Quality Program, there have been some updates on audit requirements. Due to the influence of COVID-19, Sedex has also developed a new tool - Sedex Virtual Assessment (SVA).
SGS is going to hold a seminar on SMETA on Oct. 15th. We will support you to know the latest standards, updates and Sedex Virtual Assessment, aiming to enhance enterprise competitiveness and make new development potentials.
