SLCP (Social and Labor Convergence Project) provides an effective Converged Assessment Framework that aims to avoid repetition and reduce the number of social labor audits and to improve working conditions in global apparel and footwear factories, by replacing the current proprietary assessment tools.
SLCP was issued in 2016 and put in trial operation in 2018. A growing number of brands has joined the signatories. SLCP CAF v1.4 will be launched in Mar. 2021.
