Today, SGS SA announces the successful launch of its EUR 1 billion senior bond offering with a 5-year maturity due in 2030, at a coupon of 3.125%, and a 10-year maturity due in 2035, at a coupon of 3.750%. The bonds will be issued by SGS Nederland Holding BV and are guaranteed by SGS SA. The bonds will shortly be listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange.
Proceeds of the new bond offering will be used for general corporate purposes, including the envisaged acquisition of Applied Technical Services (ATS).
The transaction marks a successful return to the Euro market after the inaugural issuance in 2021 and attracted very strong interest by a diversified and high-quality investor base, underpinning the high confidence in SGS’s strategy and credit profile.
