On September 9, we took part in two United Nations Global Compact initiatives dedicated to advancing business and human rights.
The first was the closing session of the Business & Human Rights Accelerator (B&HRA). Over the past months, we have participated in this global program designed to help companies integrate human rights into core strategies and operations. Through expert guidance and peer learning, the Accelerator has supported us in assessing our human rights impacts, identifying our salient issues and prioritizing areas for action. During the closing session, we presented our action plan, which marks an important step in strengthening our human rights due diligence processes and aligning our practices with international standards.
Following this session, we also joined the Human Rights Due Diligence (HRDD) Peer Learning & Networking Group, a collaborative platform organized by the UN Global Compact Network Switzerland and Liechtenstein in partnership with focusright. This quarterly forum brings together companies to exchange experiences, discuss challenges and share best practices on implementing human rights due diligence. It was a valuable opportunity to engage with peers, share insights from our own journey and learn from the experiences of others.
