We are proud to announce that SGS has been officially approved by the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) to conduct conformity assessments under the Technical Regulation for Communication and Information Technology Devices (CST).
This new capability means that SGS can now certify a wide range of information and communication technology products, including mobile phones, modems and laptops, for access to the Saudi market through the SABER platform.
European manufacturers and Saudi-based importers can now benefit from faster service, streamlined certification processes and the reassurance of working with a SASO-recognized provider. SGS (SGS Española de Control S.A.) is currently the only Conformity Assessment Body in Europe approved for this regulation, offering a trusted route to compliance for European-made ICT products.
We encourage businesses exporting or importing ICT devices from Europe to request their Product Certificate of Conformity (PCoC) through SGS on the SABER platform.
This approval builds on our existing approval to deliver product conformity assessment services to SASO and the Saudia Arabia Food & Drug Authority, as well as notified body services for Saudi Quality Mark applications.
