ECHA Consults Over One Substance as a SVHC

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) has launched a consultation over the listing of one chemical as a substance of very high concern (SVHC). Comments will be accepted until August 11, 2025.

In June 2025, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) launched a 45-day consultation period for listing one substance as a SVHC. If approved, the number of SVHC on the Candidate list will increase from 250 to 251 entries.
